Job Purpose: 

To manage IT Applications/ERP department and handle its existing operations.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead application support and solution delivery resources.
  • Define, plan, and direct the execution of a broad range of applications projects, while balancing the competing demands of scope, time, cost, quality, resources, and risk.
  • Collaborate with IT, vendors and business units within the company to ensure new processes are communicated and documented.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to attain optimal business process and accounting design.
  • Manage communication and change management with key stakeholders (like IT, external auditors, ERP
  • integration partners, Oracle and other third-party vendors).
  • Business process design, cloud implementation and strategy, SOX expertise required.
  • Solid understanding of Oracle and implementations; Oracle Fusion experience highly preferred.
  • Strong operational accounting expertise and critical thinking skills.
  • Proven project management, leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and drive solutions.
  • Communicate with all functional disciplines and gather their business requirements for IT applications.
  • Translate the business requirements into IT requirements and manage the resulting demand according to the priorities defined by the business and IT strategies.
  • Review/ update the application strategy for technical applications and contribute to IT strategy.
  • Manage the portfolio of applications and the life-cycles of the HRMS, Financials, and Supply Chain business applications, including project roadmap and change management.
  • Experience managing CRM Applications
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management framework. Experience managing Service Management solutions such as ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.
  • Identify solutions and providers, define sourcing approach and manage the providers.
  • Contribute to the solution design for applications (in collaboration with external partners and client's IT).
  • Provide regular reporting on performance and cost.
  • Responsible for establishing priorities and schedules for business application projects
  • Manage the budget for applications and contribute to the annual planning cycle.
  • Ability to exercise overall day-to-day control of project leaders and the resources of the department.
  • Leadership quality including the ability to motivate, inspire, counsel and facilitate individuals and teams to take responsibility and accountability for the goals will be an added advantage.
  • Responsible for developing a good relationship with the respective clients, get inputs from the client and communicate to the team members of the project.
  • End to End management and co-ordination of the project and responsible for the successful completion of the project.
  • Meet with managers (business) to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines.
  • Forecasting and allocation of team members across several development projects.
  • Accountable for project scope, schedule, and budget ensuring commitments and progress are monitored closely and communicated clearly.
  •  Perform other duties as assigned by the Direct Manager.

Preferred Skills:

Develops the overall applications strategy and directs execution of departmental activities. Reporting to the CEO, the IT Applications Head will be key member of the IT management team. The position requires building strong relationships with different departments, Human Resources, Legal, Customer Service, Sales, Quality, Engineering, Operations, and Finance.

Certifications:

  • Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c Certified Implementation Specialist Certification.
  • Oracle Certificate Professional and BI, HRMS, EBS would be plus.
