IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to ensuring the optimal configuration, deployment, and maintenance of our Point of Sale (POS) systems across various client sites. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, adept at creating and maintaining critical documentation and training materials, providing expert support, and effectively liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and facilitate smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

POS Configuration and Setup: Configure and set up POS systems and peripherals to meet client specifications and ensure seamless integration into existing networks.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all configurations and setups to ensure consistency and quality across installations.
Training Guides: Develop and update training guides and manuals for end-users, ensuring they are user-friendly and tailored to meet the needs of diverse client groups.
Support: Provide timely technical support for POS systems, addressing and resolving issues to minimize downtime and enhance user satisfaction.
System Testing and Updates: Conduct rigorous testing of the POS systems to ensure functionality and reliability; implement system updates and enhancements as needed.
Inventory Management: Manage inventory of hardware and software resources, ensuring availability and optimal stock levels for ongoing and upcoming projects.
