React Native Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled React Native Developer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our mobile application, integrating third-party services, ensuring seamless user experiences, and managing deployments to both the App Store and Google Play Store. You will collaborate closely with our backend team to create APIs, implement real-time notifications, and deliver exceptional mobile experiences—all from the comfort of your chosen work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop & Maintain Mobile Application
- Build and maintain new features for our React Native mobile application.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code, following best practices.
Implement Real-Time Notifications
- Set up and manage WebSocket connections to provide users with real-time updates and notifications.
Push Notifications
- Integrate and manage push notifications using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
- Ensure robust handling of in-app and background notifications.
Authentication & Payment Integration
- Work with Auth0 for secure authentication and user management.
- Integrate Stripe for payment processing and subscription management.
App Deployment & Store Publishing
- Oversee the app deployment process to both the App Store and Google Play Store.
- Manage provisioning profiles, signing certificates, and versioning strategies.
Collaboration with Backend Team
- Collaborate with Node.js developers to design and implement APIs.
- Ensure smooth data flow and synchronization between front-end and back-end.
Version Control & Code Reviews
- Utilize Git for source control.
- Participate in code reviews, providing and incorporating feedback.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of React Native Development
- Proven hands-on experience building and delivering React Native applications.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong understanding of ES6+ features, TypeScript types, and front-end build pipelines.
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)
- Experience with push notifications and real-time messaging systems.
Authentication Systems (Auth0)
- Familiarity with setting up Auth0 for user authentication and authorization.
Payment Integration (Stripe)
- Understanding of Stripe’s APIs and payment workflows.
WebSocket Implementation
- Proven experience implementing and managing real-time data flows.
Git Version Control
- Comfortable with branching, merging, and pull requests.
Publishing Apps to App Stores
- Track record of successfully deploying applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Node.js Experience (for backend collaboration)
- Ability to communicate effectively with backend developers and understand API structures.
