InfraXtucture Global is seeking a skilled Design Engineer with 3 to 7 years of experience to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will apply expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and 3D Modeling to develop innovative designs focused on electrical distribution and industrial control systems. This role demands a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills who can independently produce precise technical drawings and prototypes while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams. The Design Engineer is responsible for creating electrical panels and automation system designs that meet manufacturing and quality standards. The position requires an ability to communicate design concepts clearly and maintain thorough technical documentation. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge infrastructure projects without direct team management responsibilities but requires close coordination across functional departments to ensure design feasibility and project success.

Responsibilities

Electrical Engineering

Design low-voltage electrical distribution systems.
Produce Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), control schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, cable schedules, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Design electrical control panels, MCCs, PLC cabinets, junction boxes, and instrumentation panels.
Perform electrical load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, protection coordination, and equipment selection.
Prepare engineering documentation for manufacturing and installation.

Industrial Automation

Design and develop PLC control systems for industrial automation applications.
Program PLCs using IEC 61131-3 languages including.
Develop HMI applications and SCADA systems.
Configure industrial communication protocols including:
Integrate PLCs with sensors, actuators, VFDs, servo systems, instrumentation, and third-party equipment.
