Industrial Tech is seeking a dedicated HVAC Engineer based in Karachi with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role focuses on ensuring optimal environmental comfort and energy efficiency in various industrial settings. The ideal candidate specializes in ductwork layout and fabrication, utilizes AutoCAD and HVAC software proficiently, and efficiently manages project schedules to meet company standards and client expectations. While this position does not include team management responsibilities, the engineer will be expected to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
In this position, the HVAC Engineer contributes directly to the planning and execution of HVAC projects by preparing detailed designs, overseeing installation processes, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and the capability to use tools like MS Project to track progress and deliver projects on schedule. Responsibilities
- Design and develop HVAC systems that meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Create detailed ductwork layouts and oversee fabrication processes to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Use AutoCAD and specialized HVAC software to produce precise engineering drawings and schematics.
- Plan, schedule, and monitor HVAC projects using MS Project to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and onsite teams to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Conduct site inspections and troubleshoot HVAC system issues to maintain operational efficiency.
- Ensure all HVAC projects comply with safety regulations, environmental laws, and company policies.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation including project progress, design changes, and maintenance schedules.
- Recommend improvements and innovative solutions to optimize system performance and reduce costs.
- Support procurement activities by defining technical specifications and evaluating product quality.
- Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies, industry trends, and best practices for continual professional development.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to integrate HVAC systems effectively within larger projects.
