- Research & identify potential business opportunities, markets, and partnerships that align with the company's strategic objectives
- Build & maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out and fostering relationships with new clients
- Generate leads through various channels including cold calling, LinkedIn, Upwork, and digital marketing strategies
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business development inquiries
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop compelling proposals, presentations and pitches tailored to the needs of potential clients
- Lead negotiations with clients, address their concerns, and work towards closing deals that are mutually beneficial
- Develop and executive business development plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and business growth objectives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams such as sales, marketing, product development, and operations to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives
- Track and analyze key metrics and performance indicators related to business development activities, and provide regular reports & insights to management
