Accounts / Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account and Finance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of financial processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable and receivable
Complete financial reports on a regular basis
Conduct bank reconciliations and capital assets reconciliations
Enter financial information into appropriate software (Odoo)
Implement financial policies and ensure compliance
Manage company ledgers and process business expenses
Verify balances in account books and rectify discrepancies
Handle day-to-day transactions and post daily receipts
Complete year-end analysis and report on debtors and creditors
Manage accruals and prepayments
Manage monthly budgeting tasks and encode accounting entries
Sort financial documents and post them to proper accounts
Manage daily cash balances and conduct financial audits and reviews as required
Arrange reports for tax filings, tax planning, financial planning, and compliance
Ensure timely closing of financial accounts and prepare/disburse salaries

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proven work experience as an Account and Finance Manager or similar role
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Odoo ERP system
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
