• Holds responsibility of product segment and is accountable for its performance.
  • Manage and distribute workload of the product within the team.
  • Develop complex code and systems for all products.
  • Architect and implement sophisticated products.
  • Investigate, test and implement emerging web and mobile technologies.
  • Conceive, prototype and deliver next generation user interfaces.
  • Drive code optimization as part of the core development team.
  • Review, evaluate and recommend current and future reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with product manager and business stakeholders to refine and prioritize new requirements.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to the development team towards ensuring successful completion of tasks and the delivery of efficient and acceptable systems.
  • Review existing computer programs and recommend refinements, improvements and enhancements to ensure the most efficient methods are employed.
  • Contributes to the team’s developing standards & participates in grooming new hires.
  • Adhere high-quality development practices while following projects/tasks deadlines.
  • Attend peer-review meetings of solution designs and related code.
  • Support deployment of releases.
  • Ensure production data is not used for testing or development.
  • Ensure that operational information, custom product accounts, user IDs and passwords used for testing are erased from a test product system immediately after the testing is complete and before product becomes active or is released for customers.
  • Ensure that no code is installed in the system that bypasses the authorized access control mechanisms found in operating systems or access control packages.
