Responsibilities:

  • Develop scope and define backlog items epics/features/user stories that guide the agile software development team
  • Prior experience on a scrum team
  • Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in scrum
  • Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not
  • Experience with successful Agile techniques
  • Solve product-related problems, make decisions, and complete trade-off analysis to stay on track toward business deliverable commitments
  • Draft key objectives and results, and strategies and apply the data for the product to make business decisions
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product
  • Owns the product roadmap
  • Accountable for the created products, delivering in the product model, and communicating the product needs with business partners
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with a maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
  • Identifies and helps the client understand the business model, value, and value proposition
  • Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation
  • Develop appropriately detailed specifications for the product features so they are clearly understood by the development teams
  • Represents the team in front of stakeholders, clients or users
  • Work closely with product management and senior management in order to create a product that fits the company portfolio.

Reporting Management:

  • Develop and implement standardized reporting frameworks and templates for project progress, status, and key performance indicators KPIs
  • Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to gather relevant data for reporting purposes
  • Generate regular reports on project status, risks, issues, and dependencies for distribution to stakeholders
  • Analyze and interpret project data to identify trends, variances, and areas requiring attention
  • Present reports to senior management and project governance bodies, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.

Control Processes:

  • Establish and maintain project control processes and procedures in alignment with organizational standards and best practices
  • Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with established control measures, including budget, schedule, quality, and scope
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of project documentation, deliverables, and processes to identify gaps or deviations from standards
  • Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to address identified issues and mitigate risks
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams on adherence to control processes and resolution of control-related issues.

Risk and Issue Management:

  • Facilitate the identification, assessment, and prioritization of project risks and issues
  • Maintain risk and issue registers, tracking the status of mitigation and resolution efforts
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement risk response strategies and contingency plans
  • Communicate risk and issue status updates to relevant stakeholders, highlighting potential impacts on project objectives and timelines.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO, focusing on enhancing reporting capabilities, control processes, and risk management practices
  • Collect feedback from stakeholders and project teams to identify opportunities for optimization and refinement
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to tools, templates, and methodologies used for reporting and control activities.
