Job Description:
Do you have excellent skill set in phlebotomy, especially among the elderly? You can be a nurse, or a nursing assistant with phlebotomy experience.
This is not a traditional nursing or medical/nursing assistant role in a hospital setting.
We are all about primary care, focused on preventive care and humanistic care. You will be part of the health-coordinator team involved in providing in-home clinical care, and administrative and coordinating patients’ healthcare tasks.
Duties will include home visits (commute provided by the company), taking vitals, 2 lead ECGs, heart sounds, and basic protocol-driven assessment, leveraging technical gadgets in telehealth (training provided), coordinating and completing timely documentation, assisting with their patient panel’s specialists clinical appointments as needed, closely working with the assigned doctor and the patient panel as a team.
Requirements:
- Phlebotomist, nursing assistant, or nurse with experience in phlebotomy/blood draws among elderly/adults.
- We expect excellent communication skills with patients and within the team.
- Since charting/documentation is in a basic but highly functional and integrated EMR (electronic medical record), potential candidate should be comfortable using computers, smart phones, tablets, and familiar with MS Excel. Training will be provided on telehealth and technology aspects of care to interested candidates.
- Since this position requires home visits, the commute will be provided to female nurses, while a travel allowance is excellent for those with their own commute arrangements.
