HT is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join its finance team. The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of experience in managing financial transactions and accounting processes within a reputable organization. This role requires a thorough understanding of tax laws and accounting standards, as well as the ability to work independently without team management responsibilities. The Accountant will play a vital role in overseeing the accurate preparation of financial documents, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and maintaining organized financial records to support the companys operational and strategic goals.
The selected Accountant will be responsible for handling taxation tasks, including the preparation of monthly sales tax invoices, and managing import-related documentation in coordination with banking institutions. This position involves actively managing accounts payable and receivable while ensuring timely reconciliations and correspondence with tax consultants for both monthly and annual tax filings. Efficient coordination with staff to support day-to-day accounting activities and the maintenance of proper documentation are key aspects of this role, enabling the company to sustain reliable and transparent financial practices.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage taxation tasks, specifically monthly sales tax invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Handle import documentation and liaise with banks to facilitate import-related financial transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
