Responsibilities:

Surveillance and Monitoring: Utilize surveillance equipment, including cameras and alarms, to monitor premises for suspicious activity or breaches in security.
Patrolling: Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect security threats, including unauthorized access, vandalism, or theft.
Access Control: Enforce access control measures by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, or incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of individuals and property.
Reporting: Document and report incidents, accidents, or breaches of security protocols in detail, maintaining accurate records for administrative and legal purposes.
Customer Service: Provide assistance and support to employees, visitors, and clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and emergencies with professionalism and courtesy.
Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommend preventive measures to mitigate risks.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other security staff, law enforcement agencies, and emergency services to coordinate responses and share information effectively.
Training: Participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on security procedures, emergency response protocols, and relevant laws and regulations.
Maintaining Equipment: Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot security equipment, such as cameras, alarms, and communication devices, to ensure functionality and reliability.
Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts and diffuse tense situations using effective communication and de-escalation techniques to prevent violence or disruption.
Compliance: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and legal regulations governing security operations, ensuring compliance at all times.
Physical Security: Ensure physical security measures are in place and maintained, including locks, barriers, and perimeter fencing, to prevent unauthorized access.
Crisis Management: Assist in developing and implementing crisis management plans and protocols to respond effectively to emergencies or threats to security.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
Basic computer skills and proficiency in using inventory management software or systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
Security experience is required.
