The Camera Monitoring role at HRSI involves the continuous and vigilant observation of live CCTV footage across multiple locations to ensure security and safety within the premises. This position requires a keen eye for detail to detect suspicious, unauthorized, or unusual activities promptly and to take immediate action by reporting incidents in accordance with company policies. The role demands effective operation of surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras and recording systems, coupled with the responsibility of maintaining surveillance recordings for legal or investigative purposes. While this role does not involve managing a team, it requires close coordination with on-site security personnel and emergency response teams to support real-time security operations and incident management. In addition to live monitoring, the Camera Monitoring professional is responsible for reviewing recorded footage to verify reported events or investigate incidents thoroughly. Completing accurate incident reports with precise observations and evidence is a critical part of the role. The position also entails ensuring the operability of all surveillance equipment, reporting equipment malfunctions, and adhering to security policies and privacy regulations. Maintaining detailed logs and compliance documentation supports operational transparency and legal conformance, enhancing the overall security framework at HRSI.
Responsibilities

Monitor live CCTV footage from multiple cameras simultaneously to ensure continuous coverage of assigned locations.
Identify and observe suspicious, unauthorized, or unusual activities and promptly report security breaches, theft, vandalism, safety hazards, or policy violations.
Operate CCTV equipment and related surveillance systems efficiently and maintain their functionality throughout assigned shifts.
Report security incidents immediately to designated authorities and document incident details including time, location, and actions taken.
Retrieve, review, and preserve surveillance recordings to assist in investigations and legal inquiries.
Review stored footage for event verification and incident investigation, preparing detailed reports with accurate observations and supporting evidence.
Maintain confidentiality of all surveillance information and recordings, ensuring privacy and compliance with company policies.
Coordinate with on-site security guards and operations teams during emergencies, escalating critical incidents as per protocols and supporting emergency response actions.
Monitor the performance and condition of CCTV cameras, recording devices like DVR/NVR systems, and related equipment; report faults or technical problems to the IT or maintenance departments.
Keep accurate CCTV logs, monitoring records, and incident reports, ensuring all documentation follows established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure compliance with company security policies and privacy and data protection regulations throughout all surveillance activities.
Stay updated with certification standards or best practices in CCTV operations and security management to maintain operational excellence.
