Responsibilities

Data input of sales, cash receipts and disbursements
General ledger reconciliations including bank accounts, credit cards and clearing accounts
Bank deposits
Accounts receivable
Accounts payable
Payroll administration and reconciliation
Understanding, preparing and remitting HST, source deductions, WSIB, corporate tax and EHT
Preparing reports for management
Coordinating with and assisting external accountants
Oversee internal office administration and coordination
Coordinate with advertising agency

Required experience & skills

Proficiency with Excel and MS Word
Experience with A/P, A/R, bank & G/L reconciliation, payroll and inventory
Strong English written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Must have excellent computer skills and ability to adapt to new software systems.
Very good analytical and problem-solving skills, accuracy and attention to detail.

Experience & skills

Bookkeeping experience: 2 years or more
Post-secondary accreditation in accounting or bookkeeping
Experience with QBO and QBDT
Bachelor's Degree in accounting or equivalent
