We are seeking an experienced and creative Lighting Designer to join our team. As a Lighting Designer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing lighting systems for various projects, including architectural, theatrical, and commercial spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Development:

  •  Create lighting designs, schemes, and plans for projects.
  • Develop and maintain lighting budgets, schedules, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure lighting designs meet project requirements.

2. Lighting Calculations and Analysis:

  • Perform lighting calculations, including point-by-point calculations, to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Analyze lighting systems, including energy efficiency, maintenance, and cost.

3. Product Selection and Specification:

  • Research and select lighting products, including luminaires, controls, and accessories.
  • Specify lighting products, including technical specifications, quantities, and installation requirements.

4. Documentation and Communication:

  • Prepare and maintain lighting design documents, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Communicate lighting design concepts, plans, and specifications to clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.

5. Site Visits and Inspections:

  • Conduct site visits to assess lighting conditions, identify potential issues, and verify installation quality.
  • Inspect lighting installations to ensure compliance with design specifications and relevant standards.

Requirements:

1. Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.

2. Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in lighting design

3. Skills:

  • Proficiency in lighting design software, such as AGi32, Dialux, or Relux, 3D Max, Vray, Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Lumion, Microsoft Office
  • Strong understanding of lighting principles, including photometry, colorimetry, and human factors.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
