We are looking for a Sr. Manager Business Development to join our team at HMI Pakistan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth in the NVOCC, Liner, Console, and Freight Forwarding sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective strategies for business growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, while nurturing and expanding relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions to meet client requirements.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts to facilitate business development opportunities.
- Supervise and oversee the related software application, ensuring smooth functioning and proper utilization for operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Proven track record in business development, preferably in the NVOCC, Liner, Console and Freight Forwarding industry.
- Sound knowledge of NVOCC operations, international logistics, and freight forwarding processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and meet targets.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and platforms.
