Electrician

H&M Enterprises is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in electrical wiring, safety compliance, and troubleshooting electrical circuits for both single-phase and three-phase systems. This role requires a dedicated professional with at least two years of hands-on experience and a DAE in electrical. The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation in various environments. The Electrician will work independently and support project teams by addressing electrical issues promptly and effectively. Although this position does not involve team management, the candidate is expected to collaborate with other personnel to complete tasks and meet deadlines. A strong understanding of AC and DC wiring principles, as well as electrical safety standards, is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
Perform electrical circuit troubleshooting for single-phase and three-phase systems to identify and resolve issues.
Ensure all electrical work complies with company safety policies and government electrical codes.
Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers for proper functioning and wear.
Read technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to understand electrical systems and plan installations or repairs.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using appropriate testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety.
Collaborate with project teams and contractors to coordinate electrical work and maintain project schedules.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and safety checks conducted.
Provide recommendations for system improvements or part replacements to enhance electrical system efficiency and safety.
Adhere to occupational health and safety guidelines to minimize risk during all work activities.
Perform preventive maintenance checks to avoid potential electrical failures or hazards.
Report any electrical hazards, malfunctions, or accidents immediately to supervisors.
