The primary responsibilities of a Senior Shopify Developer include:
- Developing and customizing Shopify themes and templates to meet the client's specific requirements.
- Designing and implementing custom functionality using Shopify's APIs and Shopify app development.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Shopify website performance, functionality, and user experience.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and other developers, to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and other team members.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and technologies in Shopify development, e-commerce, and web development in general.
- Participating in code reviews and ensuring that code standards are followed and maintained.
- Contributing to the development of internal processes and tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the development team.
