Front Desk Duties:

  • Greeting and welcoming patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Managing the front desk area, ensuring a neat and organized workspace.
  • Answering incoming calls, addressing inquiries, and directing calls to the appropriate departments or personnel.
  • Handling patient registration and check-in processes.

Appointment Scheduling:

  • Coordinating and scheduling appointments for patients, ensuring efficient use of the medical practitioners' time.
  • Managing the appointment calendar and making any necessary adjustments.
  • Sending appointment reminders to patients through various communication channels.

Patient Registration and Records:

  • Collecting and verifying patient information, including personal details.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to privacy regulations regarding patient data.

Customer Service:

  • Assisting patients and visitors with general information about the medical complex, services offered, and directions within the facility.
  • Providing excellent customer service to enhance the overall patient experience.

Communication and Coordination:

  • Coordinating with various departments within the medical complex to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Notifying relevant staff about patient arrivals, emergencies, or special instructions.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail and email correspondence.

Cash Handling and Billing Support:

  • Collecting co-pays or fees from patients, processing payments, and issuing receipts.
  • Assisting with basic billing inquiries and forwarding complex billing issues to the appropriate department.

Emergency Response:

  • Managing emergency situations calmly and efficiently, including contacting the appropriate medical personnel or authorities when necessary.
  • Following established protocols for emergency response and patient safety.
