Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to established clinical protocols and standards.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain medical imaging equipment efficiently and safely to ensure optimal performance.
Implement radiation safety and protection measures to minimize risk to patients and staff during imaging procedures.
Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient and imaging records following institutional and legal requirements for healthcare documentation.
Adhere strictly to department policies, healthcare regulations, and quality assurance procedures to uphold safety and image quality standards.
Collaborate and coordinate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure diagnostic imaging supports effective patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
Conduct routine equipment checks and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure continuous availability of imaging devices.
Participate in quality assurance programs aimed at improving imaging techniques and patient outcomes.
Stay up-to-date with advances in radiologic technology and incorporate best practices into daily operations.
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and promote a positive healthcare experience.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety issues immediately to facilitate timely repair or intervention.
