Medical Imaging Technologist/X Ray Modality (MIT)

Hire Hub is seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Technologist specializing in X Ray Modality to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have completed a degree in Radiologic Technology and possess at least one year of experience in performing radiographic imaging procedures. This role requires a resident of Gujranwala who is proficient in patient positioning, radiation safety, equipment operation, and quality control to ensure high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety standards. In this role, the technologist performs a variety of radiographic procedures using X-ray equipment, ensuring accurate positioning of patients to capture clear images for diagnostic purposes. The candidate will strictly follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff, operate and maintain imaging equipment, and conduct routine quality control checks to guarantee optimal performance. Although this position does not include team management responsibilities, it requires effective communication with healthcare professionals and patients to facilitate smooth imaging procedures and contribute to accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Responsibilities

Perform radiographic imaging procedures by accurately positioning patients using X-ray technology.
Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards to protect patients, staff, and equipment.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot X-ray imaging equipment to guarantee optimal functionality.
Conduct quality control checks regularly to maintain high standards of radiographic images.
Adhere to established protocols and procedures related to radiologic technology and patient care.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide clear, accurate diagnostic imaging support for patient diagnosis and treatment.
Record and maintain detailed patient records including imaging history and exposure data.
Assist in educating patients about the radiographic procedure to minimize anxiety and improve cooperation.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment following health and safety regulations.
Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and techniques to improve imaging quality and patient safety.
Support the maintenance of confidential patient information according to privacy regulations.
