KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Insurance Verification: Call US-based insurance companies to verify patient eligibility and coverage for prescription medications.
Prior Authorization: Obtain prior authorization for medications and follow up with insurance providers on pending requests.
Coordination with Pharmacies: Collaborate with US-based pharmacies to ensure prescriptions meet insurance requirements.
Claims Support: Address and resolve issues related to denied or pending claims with insurance companies.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of all verification processes and communications.
Client Coordination: Act as a liaison between US pharmacies and insurance providers to streamline operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance verification or pharmacy billing within the US healthcare system.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of US healthcare insurance plans, pharmacy billing processes, and prior authorization requirements.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and pharmacy billing software.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and analytical skills to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Work Schedule: Willingness to work night shifts (US hours, 7 PM to 4 AM).
