Himala Builders is seeking an experienced Electrician/Plumber with a minimum of five years in the field to join and lead a skilled team of 10 professionals. This role requires extensive knowledge in electrical wiring, circuit troubleshooting, plumbing installation, and pipe fitting. The candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring high-quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards, and providing outstanding customer service. You will work closely with project managers to meet deadlines and ensure client satisfaction while leading and mentoring your team to excel in their tasks. In addition to hands-on technical work, the Electrician/Plumber will coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders using CRM systems and support workflows to handle inquiries and service requests promptly. The position demands strong problem-solving abilities, proficiency in welding and pipe installation techniques, and the capability to oversee complex installation and repair projects efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee a team of 10 electricians and plumbers to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Perform electrical wiring, circuit troubleshooting, plumbing installation, and pipe fitting tasks with precision and adherence to safety standards.
  • Coordinate installation and maintenance of pipes, fixtures, and related plumbing systems according to blueprints and building codes.
  • Manage customer service interactions by utilizing CRM software and supporting efficient customer support workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on all electrical and plumbing projects.
  • Conduct welding and pipefitting tasks as required to support project objectives.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members performance to maintain high technical standards and productivity.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to plan work schedules, estimate material needs, and resolve technical issues.
  • Inspect and test electrical and plumbing systems to identify faults or potential improvements.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, including service reports, inventory usage, and team timesheets.
  • Respond promptly to emergency repairs and troubleshoot complex system failures.
  • Recommend upgrades or replacements of electrical and plumbing equipment to improve system efficiency and safety.
  • Order and manage supplies and equipment to ensure uninterrupted workflow and resource availability.
  • Promote and enforce best practices for environmental sustainability and energy-efficient installations.
