Hillcrest Solutions (Private) Limited is seeking a dedicated Relationship Officer with at least two years of experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will manage and nurture client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty. This role involves prospecting new clients, processing loan applications, and cross-selling various bank products, while leading a team of five to achieve business growth targets. The Relationship Officer will act as the primary contact for clients, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and performing regular client visits to strengthen partnerships.
The role demands a strong understanding of credit and risk evaluation, including assessing financial profiles and preparing credit proposals in accordance with banking policies. Additionally, the candidate will ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and guidelines of the State and Central Banks. Effective monitoring of loan portfolios and proactive management of collections to minimize bad debts are essential responsibilities, as is maintaining an organized and motivated team for optimal service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Prospect for new clients and evaluate their financial needs to foster business growth and meet assigned sales targets.
- Process loan applications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Cross-sell BancTakaful, credit cards, investment portfolios, and other bank products to existing and potential clients.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, promptly addressing inquiries and resolving complaints to maintain high client satisfaction.
- Conduct regular client visits and check-ins to build long-term loyalty and understand evolving customer needs.
- Assess customer financial profiles using credit evaluation methods such as the '5 C's of Credit' and perform necessary physical verification processes.
- Prepare detailed credit proposals aligned with bank policies and ensure thorough documentation for loan approval processes.
- Ensure strict adherence to compliance standards including Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and central banking regulations.
- Monitor loan portfolios actively and take initiatives to manage collections, reducing the incidence of bad debts.
- Lead and manage a team of five individuals, fostering collaboration, providing guidance, and ensuring effective team performance in meeting company objectives.
