Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Administration:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans and school policies.
  • Oversee daily operations of the school.
  • Manage school budgets and allocate resources effectively.

2. Academic Oversight:

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of instructional programs.
  • Lead curriculum development and instructional improvement.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive school culture focused on student achievement.
  • Implement strategies to support diverse learners.

3. Staff Management:

  • Recruit, hire, and retain high-quality faculty and staff.
  • Provide professional development opportunities.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.

4. Student Development:

  • Promote a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Oversee student discipline and implement behavior management strategies.
  • Support extracurricular activities and student organizations.
  • Encourage student engagement and participation.

5. Community and SOS Village Parent Relations:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the school and the community.
  • Communicate regularly with parents about school policies, programs, and student progress.
  • Organize and participate in school events and activities.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Education, Educational Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience.
  • Proven experience in school administration and leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of educational laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in curriculum development and instructional leadership.
  • Knowledge of current educational technology and its integration into the classroom.
  • Proficiency in conflict resolution and problem-solving.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
