Position Title: Partnership Development Officer

Location: Islamabad, Pakistan (Home-based)

Role Description: The Partnership Development Officer will work closely with the Strategic Advisor of Help Humanity Organization, based in Islamabad, Pakistan, to support partnership development, institutional building, proposal development, drafting concept notes, preparing budgets, and keeping track of all communications and files both online and offline. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the strategic expansion of Help Humanity Organization's partnerships with local and international stakeholders, as well as supporting the overall coordination and management of the office.

Responsibilities:

  1. Partnership Development: Collaborate with the Strategic Advisor in identifying, cultivating, and maintaining partnerships with local and international organizations, including government agencies, NGOs, donors, and other stakeholders. Conduct research to identify potential partners, initiate and maintain communication with partners, and support the development of partnership agreements.
  2. Institutional Building: Support the Strategic Advisor in strengthening the institutional capacity of Help Humanity Organization. This includes assisting in the development and implementation of organizational policies and procedures, maintaining organizational records and documentation, and providing administrative support as needed.
  3. Proposal Development: Assist in the development of high-quality project proposals, including drafting concept notes, preparing budgets, and coordinating inputs from various team members. Ensure that proposals meet donor requirements and are submitted in a timely manner.
  4. Communications and Documentation: Manage all communications and files both online and offline. This includes maintaining an organized system for storing and retrieving documents, managing email correspondence, and preparing reports and presentations as needed.
  5. English Language Drafting Skills: Demonstrate strong English language drafting skills in preparing concept notes, proposals, reports, and other written documents. Ensure accuracy, clarity, and coherence in all written communications.
  6. Office Management: Provide general administrative support to the office, including managing office supplies, coordinating logistics for meetings and events, and performing other administrative tasks as needed.
  7. Computer Skills: Possess advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email management, and internet research.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as international relations, development studies, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in partnership development, proposal development, and office management.
  • Strong English language drafting skills, with the ability to draft concept notes, proposals, reports, and other written documents with accuracy and clarity.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively with team members.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of development issues and familiarity with the socio-political context of Pakistan is an advantage.
