Civil Design Engineer

Heights Engineering LLC is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join our team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed designs and plans related to civil engineering projects, focusing on site development, stormwater management, drainage system design, and hydraulic/hydrologic modeling. This role suits a recent graduate or an engineer with up to one year of professional experience who holds a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. The position requires strong knowledge of design software and an understanding of grading and site planning principles, providing opportunities to contribute to impactful projects under guidance while developing technical expertise. The Civil Design Engineer will collaborate with project teams to produce accurate and effective engineering drawings using AutoCAD and apply expertise in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling to support site and drainage designs. This role does not involve managing a team but demands excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in collaboration with senior engineers. Candidates based in Lahore are preferred to facilitate effective coordination and project delivery within the region.
Responsibilities

Develop detailed civil engineering designs and drawings for site development projects using AutoCAD.
Perform hydraulic and hydrologic modeling to analyze water flow and support stormwater management and drainage designs.
Design grading plans to ensure proper site leveling and drainage for construction projects.
Prepare stormwater management plans in compliance with environmental regulations and best practices.
Create drainage system designs that effectively manage runoff and prevent flooding.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and project requirements are met.
Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and regulatory documents to guide design activities.
Conduct site visits when necessary to gather data and assess project progress or challenges.
Assist in preparing technical reports, design documents, and presentations for internal and client use.
Stay updated with the latest developments in civil engineering design methods and software tools relevant to site development and water management.
