Estimation Engineer

Hd Staffing Solution is seeking a detail-oriented Estimation Engineer with at least one year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate specializes in cost estimation, quantity surveying, risk analysis, and project budgeting within the construction industry. This role requires a thorough understanding of construction materials, bid preparation, scheduling, and project planning methodologies. The Estimation Engineer will play a critical role in preparing accurate and competitive project estimates to support successful project execution and ensure financial control. This position requires the ability to manage work during night shifts, a commitment to commuting to DHA Phase 2 Islamabad, and signing a 3-year indemnity bond. The role does not involve managing a team but demands strong individual responsibility, attention to detail, and effective organizational skills to support project delivery and contribute to the overall success of Hd Staffing Solutions projects.
Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing project plans, specifications, and other documentation.
Conduct quantity surveying to measure materials, labor, and equipment requirements accurately.
Perform risk analysis to identify potential cost overruns and propose mitigation strategies.
Develop and manage project budgets to ensure alignment with financial goals.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to gather information for bid preparation.
Compile and submit competitive bids to secure contracts in a timely manner.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction materials and market pricing to enhance estimation accuracy.
Apply scheduling and project planning methodologies to forecast timelines and resource allocation.
Review and validate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with project specifications.
Monitor project progress and update cost estimates to reflect any changes or variations.
Adhere to company policies and contractual requirements including indemnity commitments and commute availability.
Ensure all estimation documentation is complete, accurate, and organized for audit and reference purposes.
