- Oversee the daily operations of the fleet to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Schedule and dispatch vehicles to meet transportation needs.
- Monitor and maintain vehicle logs, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance records.
- Plan and optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and enhance delivery efficiency.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and clients to manage delivery schedules and resolve any logistical issues.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of shipments, deliveries, and inventory.
- Supervise and provide guidance to drivers and other transportation staff.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on safety, compliance, and operational procedures.
- Monitor staff performance and conduct regular evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation-related regulations, including safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare regular reports on fleet performance, transportation costs, and logistical efficiency.
- Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues related to transportation services.
