As a Backend Developer at Happy Ads, you will learn new technologies and languages, solve customer problems, and help guide the future direction of the team. We’re a supportive team with a high technical bar, providing ample room for rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities:
As a founding Backend Software Engineer on HappyAds engineering team, you will define and build highly scalable services with a direct impact on the design, architecture, and implementation of our flagship product that our partners and core business depend on.
A successful candidate will be expected to:
• Drive a culture of engineering and operational excellence
• Write high quality, low-revision code to lead by example in their technical leadership
• Work with cutting-edge technology and linearly scalable distributed systems, and make high-judgement technology decisions
• Code review other engineers code, and mentor junior developers on the team
Responsibilities:
• Executing full lifecycle software development• Architect and conceptualize the product from initiation
• Programming well-designed, testable, efficient code
• Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
Requirements:
• Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Strong NoSQL database design and query writing skills with a commitment to performance and efficiency
• Working knowledge of RESTful API paradigms• Strong coding skills (Javascript, Node.js )
• Experience building distributed domain-driven microservices
• Strong understanding of database and storage fundamentals
• Experience with AWS stack
• 3+ years of experience in software design and development
• Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
