Senior Manager Engineering

Hamdard Laboratories is seeking an experienced Senior Manager Engineering to lead engineering, maintenance, utilities, and civil infrastructure operations across its manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate should hold a a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering will be preferred, with proven leadership experience in engineering project execution, plant maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for Plant Engineering, Maintenance, Utilities, Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil functions,
Develop and execute CAPEX planning and project management strategies for plant expansions, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.
Oversee the complete lifecycle of engineering projects including planning, budgeting, tendering, execution, commissioning, and handover ensuring alignment with company and GMP standards.
Implement and refine plant maintenance programs focusing on root cause analysis to reduce downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
Manage all aspects of utilities and facility management including HVAC, boilers, chillers, compressors, electrical systems, and civil works.
Supervise vendor and contractor selection, performance, and compliance with safety and quality requirements.
Prepare and control budgets related to engineering, maintenance, and CAPEX projects, ensuring effective cost control while meeting operational goals.
Lead structural repairs, renovation projects, and ensure all civil work is completed to the highest standards in line with operational and regulatory requirements.
Ensure engineering operations are compliant with GMP regulations and support manufacturing audits and quality inspections.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within engineering and maintenance functions to boost reliability, safety, and environmental compliance.
