Quality Assurance Officer

Hamdard Pakistan is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Officer to ensure the highest standards of pharmaceutical quality and regulatory compliance within the organization. The ideal candidate holds a Pharm-D degree from an HEC-recognized university and possesses a strong understanding of pharmaceutical quality standards and good manufacturing practices. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can analyze complex processes, document findings accurately, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders. The Quality Assurance Officer will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and safety of pharmaceutical products while supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment. The Quality Assurance Officer at Hamdard Pakistan will actively collaborate with other departments to implement and maintain quality management systems, ensuring that all products comply with industry regulations and internal standards. The candidate will use their analytical skills to monitor processes, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions. Although this position does not involve managing a team, it demands strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary groups to achieve operational excellence and uphold the companys reputation for high-quality pharmaceutical products.
Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in alignment with pharmaceutical quality standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Review and analyze quality documentation, batch records, and deviation reports to identify trends and areas requiring improvement.
Collaborate with production and research teams to resolve quality-related issues and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulatory guidelines and ensure company policies reflect current requirements.
Assist in the preparation and submission of quality-related documentation for regulatory audits and inspections.
Support the training of staff on quality assurance protocols and best practices to promote a compliance-focused culture.
Monitor and document quality control activities, including sampling, testing, and validating procedures.
Participate in the investigation of product complaints, non-conformances, and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing data-driven insights and recommending process enhancements.
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping according to regulatory and company standards.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to promote transparency and quality awareness.
