Quality Engineer - P2

Haier is seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer - P2 to join our team and lead quality assurance initiatives ensuring top-notch product performance and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will manage a team of 10 persons, guiding them to achieve quality objectives and continuously enhance process and product standards. You are responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance plans, monitoring systems, and control parameters in line with company policies and industry standards such as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018. As a Quality Engineer, you will analyze market feedback and production data to identify improvement areas, reduce defective rates, and support cost-effective quality management. Your collaboration with research and development and customer service departments will drive innovations and improvements on the production floor. You will also promote quality awareness, continuous improvement philosophies like KAIZEN, and ensure compliance with 6S and ISO standards through regular audits and training sessions.
Responsibilities

Prepare and implement quality assurance objectives and plans as per managerial guidance and ensure all objectives are met.
Develop and maintain quality assurance monitoring systems to track product and process quality effectively.
Establish and apply product and process specifications and control parameters to ensure consistency and compliance.
Analyze market feedback to identify quality trends, evaluate the cost of quality, and recommend improvements.
Manage production defective rates to meet or exceed target performance levels.
Examine market data to identify opportunities for process, material, and machinery improvements.
Coordinate with the Research and Development department to incorporate quality enhancements in products and processes.
Liaise with the customer service department to discover production floor improvements and resolve quality-related issues.
Control selling expense budgets by enhancing product quality and reducing costs related to defects.
Conduct market and branch visits to gather product quality feedback and address market requirements.
Provide training and guidance to quality assurance inspectors to foster expertise and adherence to standards.
Identify and follow up on problems affecting any stage of the product realization process to ensure timely resolution.
Promote continuous improvement across all processes and products through the application of quality methodologies.
Oversee the spare parts management procedure to guarantee prompt availability against customer complaints.
Implement and monitor 6S practices on the production floor and conduct daily internal audits for compliance.
Instill awareness of KAIZEN philosophy among team members to encourage ongoing process and quality improvements.
Maintain records according to ISO standards and support the factory during external ISO audits.
Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 as per corporate policies.
