Haier is seeking a skilled Die & Mold Section Incharge to lead the maintenance and smooth operation of dies and molds at the Raiwind Road, Lahore facility. This role requires overseeing both preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring minimal downtime and continuous production flow. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical engineering or a similar technical field, with at least three years of relevant experience in die and mold maintenance. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks, is essential for handling technical drawings and maintaining design standards.
In this leadership position, you will manage a team of two personnel, coordinating tasks and optimizing performance to meet production goals. You will work closely with production teams, technicians, and external vendors to plan maintenance schedules, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions that enhance die and mold reliability. Maintaining accurate technical records, inspections, and performance reports is a vital part of this role to support continuous improvement and cost control.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preventive and corrective maintenance of dies and molds to ensure consistent and efficient production.
- Analyze equipment breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to enhance performance and prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate with production teams, technicians, and external vendors to plan and schedule maintenance activities effectively.
- Manage and supervise a team of two personnel, providing guidance, training, and monitoring performance to meet operational objectives.
- Maintain detailed technical records, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and performance documentation for dies and molds.
- Utilize CAD/CAM software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, to review and update die and mold designs according to engineering standards.
- Implement and enforce preventive maintenance programs to prolong the life and efficiency of dies and molds.
- Monitor maintenance costs and work towards cost optimization without compromising quality or safety.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards in all maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot technical issues promptly and provide practical solutions to minimize production interruptions.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of tools, equipment, and vendors to support maintenance operations.
- Continuously update technical knowledge and skills related to die and mold technology and maintenance best practices.
