We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor to oversee our electrical and instrumentation maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of electrical and instrumentation systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency with strong background in electrical and instrumentation maintenance and leadership skills.

  • Lead and supervise a team of electrical and instrumentation technicians to ensure timely and efficient execution of maintenance tasks and repairs.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical and instrumentation equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical and instrumentation problems using diagnostic tools and equipment, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize production disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
  • Mentor and train electrical and instrumentation technicians to enhance their skills, knowledge, and capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree or diploma in electrical engineering, instrumentation technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years proven experience as an electrical or instrumentation supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
  • Strong technical expertise in electrical systems, instrumentation principles, and control systems, including PLCs, Siemens S7 and SCADA systems.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve high performance standards.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and instrumentation schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Experience with troubleshooting complex electrical and instrumentation issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
