Project Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Engineer with over 10 years of expertise to lead and oversee engineering projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination:
- Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project execution.
Technical Oversight:
- Provide technical guidance and expertise during project design and execution phases.
- Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Resource Management:
- Allocate and manage resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor project progress and adjust resource allocation as necessary to meet project deadlines.
Quality Assurance & Control:
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet specified standards.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve any technical or engineering challenges encountered.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Address project delays, scope changes, and unforeseen challenges promptly.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
- Provide regular project updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders and management.
Budget & Cost Control:
- Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
- Evaluate and approve project-related expenditures and vendor invoices.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field).
10+ years of proven experience in project engineering, with a strong track record of successfully completed projects.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar software).
In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and industry standards.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP or PRINCE2) is an advantage.
