Guard Agriculture Research & Services (Pvt) Ltd. is seeking a dedicated HR & Labor Welfare Officer to oversee labor law compliance and employee welfare within its manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate brings at least seven years of experience in human resources, particularly within the manufacturing sector, and demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of labor laws and workplace safety requirements. This role involves managing a large workforce of 200 persons and ensuring all HR policies align with legal standards and promote workplace harmony and safety.
The HR & Labor Welfare Officer will design and implement employee relations strategies, health, and welfare programs, and maintain HRIS systems to support efficient personnel management. By fostering a positive and compliant work environment, this role supports the company's commitment to employee well-being and regulatory adherence. The candidate must be skilled in conducting risk assessments and driving continuous improvement in workforce management practices.
Responsibilities
- Ensure strict compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations within the manufacturing industry.
- Develop, implement, and regularly update HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and company standards.
- Oversee employee relations programs to maintain positive communication and resolve workplace issues effectively.
- Manage health and welfare programs aimed at enhancing employee well-being and workplace safety.
- Conduct regular risk assessments related to labor and workplace safety and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Utilize and manage HRIS systems for accurate record-keeping, reporting, and personnel management.
- Coordinate with management and staff to support workforce planning and development.
- Lead and supervise a workforce of 200 employees, ensuring optimal team performance and compliance with company policies.
- Facilitate training and awareness programs about labor laws, workplace safety, and welfare initiatives.
- Prepare reports on labor compliance and employee welfare for senior management review.
