Job Summary

The Accounts Manager is responsible for handling a wide spectrum of Accounts and Finance related tasks, and ultimately supporting the Finance Director and wider UK based Finance team in delivering their roles and responsibilities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Input accurate financial information into Xero accounts platform - primarily invoices payable and receivable
  • Analyze and test finance functions including using reporting to periodically review profitability by business unit
  • Prepare Financial Statements including Monthly, Quarterly and Annual MI (Management Information – including P&L, Balance Sheet, Aged Receivables and Aged Payables)
  • Ensuring accuracy and reliability of financial information
  • To co-ordinate and follow month, quarter and year end processes
  • Identify if and where processes can be improved / made more efficient and advise Finance Director
  • Co-ordinate with Finance, Retail Trading, Retail Stores and other UK based colleagues on any day-to-day finance matters & reports
  • Any other duties as assigned by Finance Director

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in relevant field - essential
  • Be able to understand, speak, read and write in proficient English - essential
  • Hold ACCA, CA Inter, MCom, MBA (Finance), MSc Accountary and Finance or equivalent
  • Have strong IT skills including knowledge of (E)POS (Electronic Point of Sale) systems as well as MS Office. Experience in handling data-sets, databases, SQL etc. is a bonus

Hours of Work:Min. 48 hours per week (Monday – Saturday, 12pm – 8pm)
