Grab & Go is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier with at least one year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong cash handling skills and proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems to ensure accurate and efficient transactions. Responsibilities
The Cashier operates the POS system to accurately process customer purchases, returns, and exchanges while handling cash and other payment methods securely. This position requires careful attention to detail to reconcile cash drawers at the start and end of shifts, preventing discrepancies and ensuring accountability.
Additionally, the Cashier assists in inventory management by tracking stock levels through the inventory management system and reporting shortages or discrepancies to supervisors. They maintain a clean and organized checkout area, respond courteously to customer inquiries, and uphold store policies with professionalism. Reliable performance, honesty, and adherence to cash handling procedures are essential.
