Senior Software Engineer

Join Good Hire Global as a Senior Software Engineer, where you will design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications. You will be an integral part of software development efforts, contributing to building RESTful APIs and GraphQL services, as well as front-end applications using modern frameworks. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that are performant, reliable, and secure. With at least four years of professional full-stack development experience, you have strong expertise in Node.js/NestJS or PHP/Laravel and front-end technologies like React.js/Next.js along with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and preferably TypeScript. You will work closely with databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL systems, integrating third-party APIs and ensuring best practices in authentication and data protection. While you do not manage a team, your contribution to CI/CD pipelines and codebase improvements plays a crucial role in the success of product delivery at Good Hire Global.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust full-stack applications that meet business requirements.
Build and maintain secure and efficient RESTful APIs and GraphQL services to support front-end and mobile applications.
Develop responsive and intuitive front-end user interfaces using React.js, Next.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Design, optimize, and manage relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL, as well as NoSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
Integrate third-party APIs and external services seamlessly to extend application functionality.
Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and well-tested code following industry best practices and secure coding standards.
Create, maintain, and enhance automated tests and test automation frameworks to ensure software quality and reliability.
Contribute actively to CI/CD workflows by integrating code into version control systems, conducting code reviews, and automating deployment processes.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers in architecture reviews, technical planning sessions, and cross-team initiatives.
Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to improve reliability, scalability, and user experience.
Ensure compliance with security best practices including authentication mechanisms and data protection measures.
Continuously research and adopt emerging software development trends, tools, and technologies to enhance development efficiency and product quality.
