Gold Times Accessories is seeking a dedicated Tax Executive / Sr. Tax Executive with at least two years of experience in tax compliance and planning. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing comprehensive tax-related activities including tax filing, documentation, and reconciliation across all branches. This role requires a strong understanding of income tax, withholding tax, sales tax regulations, and other statutory compliances. The candidate must be highly detail-oriented and proficient in coordinating with external accounting firms and internal teams to ensure accuracy and adherence to tax laws while supporting the payroll and vendor management processes.
The Tax Executive will also handle tax certificates, certification processes, and ensure timely submission of all tax payments and returns. Compliance with labor laws and effective communication with regulatory authorities such as the Federal Board of Revenue, provincial tax authorities, and local governmental bodies is a critical part of this role. The role does not involve team management but requires excellent organizational and collaboration skills to work across multiple branches and departments successfully.
Responsibilities
Collect and reconcile salary tax, withholding tax, and advance income tax data from all branches according to prescribed rates and relevant laws.
Provide tax paid challans and certificates to the respective branches for vendors and employees.
Issue certificates to customers for advance income tax deposits.
Submit withholding tax, salary tax, and EOBI payments to the government for the head office and all branches.
Ensure compliance with income tax, sales tax, and provincial authorities notices and audits.
Coordinate with external accounting firms on tax-related matters and issues.
Maintain exemption certificates for withholding tax non-deductions and prepare tax calculation sheets for non-resident individuals.
Resolve tax-related issues between branches and their vendors effectively.
Prepare and finalize monthly salary tax for employees and integrate tax data with the payroll system.
File monthly and annual federal sales tax returns and reconcile imports with physical records, maintaining bill of entry documentation.
File service sales tax returns with PRA and SRB, reconcile ledgers with respective portals, and deposit payments to government authorities.
Finalize sales tax invoice templates and coordinate with branches to ensure accurate issuance and reconciliation of sales tax invoices and reports.
Ensure labor law compliance and liaison with regulatory authorities including PRA, TMA, and local containment boards.
Finalize and deposit professional tax for the head office, branches, and handle other related tax matters.
Keep branches informed about new amendments in Federal Board of Revenue laws and updates.
Execute any other tax-related assignments and tasks assigned by the Head Office as required.
