Student Counselor

Global Learning Navigators is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Student Counselor to guide students through their academic and career journey. As a Student Counselor, you will assist students in identifying and achieving their educational goals by providing personalized counseling and consultancy services related to education abroad, career options, and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one counseling to students, helping them navigate career and educational opportunities.
Assist students in selecting suitable academic programs, universities, and countries for higher education based on their career interests, financial background, and qualifications.
Stay up-to-date with global educational trends, admission requirements, visa processes, and scholarship opportunities.
Conduct seminars, workshops, and webinars on higher education options and career paths.
Build and maintain relationships with students, parents, and educational institutions.
Guide students through application processes, including assistance with SOPs, recommendation letters, and visa applications.
Monitor and follow up on students' progress through the application and admission stages.
Provide emotional and academic support to students to help them manage their challenges and goals effectively.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for reaching out to potential students.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
Previous experience in student counseling, career guidance, or educational consultancy is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy, patience, and the ability to guide students through critical decision-making processes.
Knowledge of international education systems, admission criteria, and visa processes.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a dynamic team.
Proficient in MS Office and online communication tools.
