Girift Media is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in content editing and proofreading and will be responsible for refining and enhancing written materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and engagement. This role requires expertise in various editing tools and software such as Adobe InCopy, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Photoshop. Additionally, a strong understanding of SEO optimization and keyword research is essential to help elevate the visibility and ranking of published content. The Editor will manage a team of two persons, collaborating closely to streamline editorial processes and maintain consistent quality across all content deliverables. This position demands a keen eye for detail, excellent fact-checking skills, and the ability to optimize content to meet SEO best practices. The successful candidate will ensure that all edited material aligns with the companys standards and brand guidelines while meeting project deadlines efficiently.
Responsibilities

Edit and proofread articles, scripts, and multimedia content to ensure grammatical accuracy, style consistency, and clarity.
Conduct thorough fact-checking to verify the accuracy of information presented in all content.
Implement SEO optimization techniques, including keyword integration and SEO keyword research, to improve content visibility and search engine ranking.
Collaborate with writers, designers, and multimedia producers to create cohesive and engaging content.
Manage and supervise a team of two editors to maintain high editorial standards and workflow efficiency.
Utilize editing and design software such as Adobe InCopy, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Photoshop to produce polished final outputs.
Coordinate with the content strategy team to align editing efforts with SEO and marketing goals.
Revise content based on feedback from stakeholders and track revisions to ensure quality control.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to editing, SEO, and digital content production.
Ensure timely delivery of all projects by organizing and prioritizing editing tasks effectively.
