Key Responsibilities:
IT & Network Management
- Install, configure, manage, and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, switches, routers, and network equipment.
- Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, internet connectivity, and internal network performance.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network switches and routing devices.
Firewall & Security Management
- Configure, manage, and monitor firewall devices and network security systems.
- Implement and enforce IT security policies, access controls, antivirus, and data protection measures.
- Monitor security logs and respond to IT and network security incidents.
IT Drawings & Documentation
- Prepare, update, and maintain IT and network drawings including network layouts, rack layouts, cabling diagrams, and system architecture diagrams.
- Ensure all IT drawings are updated to reflect actual installations and system changes.
User Support & Helpdesk
- Provide technical support to users for hardware, software, email, network, and system-related issues.
- Resolve IT issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
Inventory & Asset Management
- Maintain accurate records of IT and network inventory including hardware, software licenses, warranties, and configurations.
Website Management (Added Advantage)
- Manage or support company website operations, including basic updates, content coordination, domain hosting, email configurations, and liaising with web developers (where applicable).
- Knowledge of website operations, CMS platforms, and basic troubleshooting will be considered an added advantage.
System Maintenance & Coordination
- Perform system updates, backups, and preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and service providers for IT and network-related services.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Relevant experience as an IT Officer or Network Administrator.
- Hands-on experience with switches, firewalls, and network infrastructure.
- Ability to prepare and understand IT and network drawings.
- Knowledge of website management will be considered a plus.
