- To manage and maintain database environments, ensuring data integrity, performance, and availability. This role also involves server management, Azure / Cloud management, ensuring that both systems and databases operate efficiently.
- Install, configure, and maintain databases, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to protect data and ensure availability.
- Monitor and optimize database performance, identify bottlenecks, and tune queries.
- Manage access control, data encryption, and security protocols to protect sensitive information.
- Oversee server maintenance, updates, and patching, ensuring system reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve database-related issues, including performance and connectivity.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, policies, and procedures.
Additional Desired Experience:
- Strong experience in SQL, MySQL, or other database management systems.
- Familiarity with backup/recovery strategies and high availability concepts.
- Proficiency in database optimization, tuning, and security measures.
- Knowledge of server administration, including Linux/Windows environments.
- Certifications in MCSE/MCSA/AWS are preferred.
