The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and supporting financial decision-making within the organization. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
Monitor and ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Prepare tax returns and ensure timely payment of taxes.
Conduct internal audits and support external auditors during audits.
Handle payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payment to employees.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Assist in the preparation of year-end financial reports and closing processes.
Provide support to management with financial decision-making and reporting
