Full-Stack Developer — Next.js, Node.js & PostgreSQL (Remote)

We are looking for a talented Full-Stack Developer to join our team and play a key role in building and scaling modern web applications, internal platforms, customer-facing tools, integrations, and future SaaS products. This position requires expertise beyond traditional web development, covering frontend, backend, APIs, databases, authentication, integrations, and deployment infrastructure. The successful candidate will manage the entire lifecycle of features—from initial concept and database design to API/backend development, frontend implementation, testing, and deployment. This is a full-time, long-term remote role with working hours from Monday to Saturday, 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM PKT.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using Next.js, React.js, and TypeScript.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services leveraging Node.js and Next.js API routes.
- Manage authentication, authorization, and role-based access control systems to ensure secure user access.
- Integrate third-party APIs, webhooks, and external services to expand platform functionality.
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and transactions primarily with PostgreSQL.
- Implement background jobs and scheduled processes to maintain system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and infrastructure management.
- Take full ownership of features from ideation through deployment and testing, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Extensive experience with React.js and Next.js frameworks.
- Solid backend development skills using Node.js and Next.js API routes.
- Deep understanding of PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, query optimization, joins, and transactions.
- Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with authentication mechanisms and database design best practices.
- Proficient with Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
- Ability to work independently and manage the full development lifecycle of features.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with ORM tools such as Prisma or Drizzle ORM.
- Familiarity with cloud database services like Supabase, Neon, or AWS RDS.
- Knowledge of cloud deployment platforms including Vercel and AWS.
- Understanding of Redis, WebSockets, Docker, and containerization technologies.
- Exposure to SaaS application development, CRM integrations, payment systems, POS integrations, and QR/NFC platforms.
