Responsibilities:
Coaching: Train guests on proper throwing technique so they can learn how to throw and have a safe and memorable experience
Safety: Ensure all procedures, safety protocols, and equipment needs are met at all times to create a safe environment for all guests and staff
Facilitating the game: Ensure game sessions are flowing smoothly, this includes making sure venue and equipment are event ready, offering feedback and encouraging guests, overseeing matches, and keeping score.
Customer Service: manage every aspect of the customer experience from the moment guests enter the facility till the moment they leave
Day-to-Day operations: support the entire Flying Axe team to get the job done, including having guests complete waivers, answering questions, serving food and beverage to guests, and making guests feel welcome
Ambassadorship: be the face of Flying Axe and represent our brand and passion for the sport of axe throwing in a fun and professional manner.
Age: Must be 21 or older to apply
Availability: Is available to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
People person: Excellent communication skills, speaks clearly and concisely, can speak in front of large groups and genuinely likes being around people
Strong leadership skills: is confident to take charge in group settings and can manage group dynamics effectively.
Is a team player: works well in a team environment and encourages a sense of community and inclusiveness for all guests and staff
Even-tempered: is mature, responsible, has a good sense of humor, and can stay calm even when confronted with hostile or aggressive behavior
Has some experience (preferred not required): has some experience working in hospitality, entertainment, gaming or coaching/teaching
