We are seeking a skilled and experienced Remote Networking Expert to provide ongoing support for our networking needs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Cisco, Fortinet, and MikroTik devices and technologies. This role requires providing on-demand support on a daily basis, addressing networking issues, configuring devices, and ensuring optimal network performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote support and troubleshooting for Cisco, Fortinet, and MikroTik networking devices.
- Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Assist with network security measures, including firewall configurations and intrusion detection.
- Collaborate with the team to design and implement network solutions for various projects.
- Respond to support requests in a timely manner, providing efficient and effective resolutions.
- Document network configurations, changes, and procedures for future reference.
- Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Cisco, Fortinet, and MikroTik networking devices.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Experience in configuring and managing firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex networking issues remotely.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical team members.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, NSE, MTCNA) are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to address support needs as they arise.
