Audit Manager

The firm is looking for an Audit Manager to join their well-established team of 12 colleagues, offering remote working opportunities. Despite having 15 staff members, the firm maintains a "work hard, play hard" ethos with frequent social events like quiz nights and dinner & learn sessions. Although the team works remotely, they engage in occasional team-building activities to foster camaraderie.

Main Duties:

Conduct audits of statutory accounts compliant with auditing standards.
Ensure audits are completed promptly within budget.
Manage audit assignments from planning to finalization of reports within agreed timelines.
Monitor and control time spent within budget.
People management responsibilities including coaching, feedback, performance management, training, and development to cultivate high-performing teams.
Ensure adherence to standards and procedures by the entire team.
Produce high-quality work aligned with the firm's policies and processes, meeting relevant regulatory requirements.
Ability to handle multiple audit assignments simultaneously.
Conduct detailed reviews of all audit assignments.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

Significant experience leading external audits and managing a portfolio of clients.
Previous experience as an Audit Senior (qualified auditor).
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Takes ownership of projects, delegates effectively within the team, and maintains responsibility for quality control.
